Craig White is a Los Angeles-based illustrator and designer with more than 30 years of experience creating imagery for publishing and entertainment. His work includes book-cover illustration, children’s and young adult illustration, entertainment key art, character design, typography, photo-compositing and motion.
His publishing credits include R. L. Stine’s Give Yourself Goosebumps and Scholastic’s Animorphs, alongside cover artwork across science fiction, fantasy, horror, romance and thrillers.
Give Yourself Goosebumps Cover Illustration
Craig White illustrated covers for Give Yourself Goosebumps, the interactive horror book series published by Scholastic under the R. L. Stine name. His credited work includes regular-series books 25–42 and all eight Give Yourself Goosebumps Special Editions.
Titles include Shop Till You Drop...Dead!, Checkout Time at the Dead-End Hotel, The Werewolf of Twisted Tree Lodge, Elevator to Nowhere and All-Day Nightmare. Special Edition credits include Return to Terror Tower, Revenge of the Body Squeezers and Weekend at Poison Lake.
Book-Cover Illustration
Craig’s book-cover work spans children’s publishing, young adult fiction and adult genre fiction. Selected credits include Vicarious by Paula Stokes, Guardian and Camouflage by Joe Haldeman, and cover artwork for Carrie Vaughn’s Kitty Norville books.
His romance-cover work includes Highland Avenger, Avenger’s Heat and Hunted Warrior. A Publishers Weeklyinterview explored his involvement in cover-model casting and collaboration with photographers.
